Photography
Overview
Photography has always been something that really interests me. To me, it's much more than just pressing a button and taking a picture. While the camera itself is a tool, understanding how it works and knowing how to use it effectively is what helps bring an image to life.
What I find most exciting about photography is the creative process behind it—the ability to either build a scene from scratch or find something unique and beautiful in a moment that already exists. It's a balance between technical knowledge and creativity, and that's what keeps me wanting to learn and explore more.
Art & Other Renders
Overview
Drawing has never really been one of my strongest skills, but I still enjoy the creative process behind it. Using programs like Photoshop and Illustrator has made it much easier for me to bring my ideas to life without needing to be great at drawing. I can sketch out a rough idea, use shapes or other images, and combine everything to create what I have in mind.
I've also been using these skills to make thumbnails for YouTube videos, whether they're for my own channel or someone else's. Since thumbnails are usually the first thing people see when deciding what to watch, I try to make them stand out without relying on the overly clickbait style that's become so common on YouTube.
More recently, I've been learning 3D modeling and scene creation, and it's been a really fun and refreshing change of pace. While 3D art can definitely be challenging, learning Blender has been a great experience. It's helped me develop not only my skills in 3D, but also my post-processing abilities in Photoshop, which has improved things like my thumbnails, photo manipulations, and other projects. Overall, it's been a really rewarding experience, and I wanted to share some of the progress I've made here.
Video Edits
Overview
I wanted to include this section mostly because it's fun. Most of the full-length YouTube videos I've edited over the years are pretty straightforward, with simple cuts, some sound effects, and a bit of music. But with short-form edits and memes, I feel like I can show a lot more of my personality. They're a chance to make quick, goofy edits just for the fun of it. It's not like I couldn't do that in a full-length video, but the overall vibe is just different.
Overview
Now if you aren't familiar with Geometry Dash or only know it as some mobile game, then this section may seem somewhat strange, but let me explain. To those unfamiliar, Geometry Dash is a Rhythm-based platformer originally released as a mobile game but is also now playable on steam. Within this game, there is a level editor, which if you've seen level editors in other games, or other rhythm games, some can usually be rather simple. Geometry Dash on the other hand can be very complex, a lot of people refer to it as its own video game engine, and that's not really much of an exaggeration. There is basically no limit to the creativity and amount of things you can make within it. I have been playing the game for about 12 years now, and have become pretty well versed within its editor, and it is something I am very passionate about, and I believe it to be an art form in and of itself, so I wanted to share some of the things I have been able to create using it.
